This is a new reprint of the first Advent Calendar producted after World War II. It was originally published by Richard Sellmer in 1946.

The calendar is printed on strong cardboard with translucent windows.

Length 27 1/2 inches Height 8 1/2 inches

The Calendar can be folded to 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches for an easy mailing.

The tradition of the advent calendar dates back to 1851 in the Protestant parts of Germany. The first advent calendar with little doors was printed in the early 1900's and continues today.
